The Young Library for Progressive Theology's mission:

To provide a means whereby emerging progressive Christianity is explored through classes, small groups, workshops, seminars, lectures, retreats, and other educational activities – nurturing adult faith and spiritual development

WHAT WE DO:

We achieve our mission primarily through the use of DVD based curriculum and lectures.  Throughout the year, we schedule short series whereby leading theologians and scholars are presented on video delivering a lecture and/or leading a study.  The Library faculty then engages the series participants in dialogue about the material presented. At times, a weekend retreat will be offered for a limited number of guests to come together and explore topics through the use of published curriculum, guest lecturers, and Library created materials. The retreats are held in a rural setting that will allow guests to get-away from their normal routines and fully enjoy the weekend.  Visit our Retreats page.

There will also be an occasional workshop or seminar dealing with a specific topic.
